esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) with biopsy, also known as upper endoscopy. this test involves passing an endoscope, a long, flexible black tube with a light and video camera on one end, through the mouth to examine the esophagus, stomach and the first part of the small intestine.

***update! all went well as soon as i found the dumb place. there was NO parking at this hospital. i just ended up parking on the other side from where i needed to be. after a 10 walk we went to the place they told me to go, they then directed me over to a differ building for children. they said it would be faster to go back and get my car and drive over, i didn't want to do that hike again, so i ended up walking another 10 min for them to tell me that i need to go back to where i was.
they didn't find anything wrong. they took some biopsies. we are waiting on those results. should come back next week. so she is continuing on her adult dosage of prevacid and awaiting her next test an UGI.

after she was done and starting to wake up she was yelling for her baba, she was starving so they offered us a popsicle to give to her. she went back to sleep with a popsicle in her mouth, she freaked out when we took it out she stared yelling at us with her eyes closed she wouldn't open them.

Our Chris had the same thing done, they found an esophagial ulcer. Good Luck

Oh my goodness Annie, how sad! That is so hard when your kids are sick, and keep getting sick. We all had stomach flu last week, but we're all better now. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help!
Ella looks so big with big girl pigtails and everything. I am sure I will need migraine therapy there soon!!! She is getting so big, so fast, I can't stand it!!! We are praying hard for our wonderful girl!!!
poor Ella. glad she did so well. Chris goes in for another endoscopy on Monday. must be in the air.
Poor little girl! She looks so grown up with her cute pigtails. Madelynn was almost 3 before you could do that, wasn't she? :)I hope she's doing ok and has eaten lots more popsicles!!
