Thanksgiving brings about great memories of the turkey and dressing, green beans and potatoes, pumpkin pies, and a number of other delicious dishes that appeared on the table. There was always family, bringing more scrumptious dishes. And, we ate until we couldn't eat anymore. We sat and talked, and then had pie and ice cream. What great memories!
The tradition has passed down into the families of the children. From my grandparents, mom and dad, and aunts and uncles, down to me and my siblings and my cousins. The dinner I make, might not be as big as those I remember when I was young, but good, just the same. We build memories for our children that they can some day share with their young.
{Gratitude}-
the state of being grateful : thankfulness
Living in thanksgiving daily is a habit that will enrich our lives and the lives of those we love.
